Delta Pharmacy has been a staple to the community of Charleston since 1935. With the area being prone to flooding, Floodproofing.com worked with The Middleton Group and FRA Flood Panels were the specified dry floodproofing system for the project. With high flood protection heights needed and certain obstacles to overcome considering the construction of the building envelope, Floodproofing.com’s Flood Design Team provided their complimentary flood design services to custom engineer the flood barriers that included mid-posts. These custom flood panels allowed the General Contractor, Chastain Construction, to anchor them at grade and up the windows back into the wall for proper hydrodynamic loading. Delta Pharmacy is now protected with deployable flood barriers to help continue to serve the Charleston community for years to come.
