Clarksville River
Clarksville, Missouri may be small, but its fight against flooding is anything but. Since 2008, this resilient Mississippi River town has faced nine floods, each one testing the community’s resolve.
When city officials explored ways to protect their historic town, a range of solutions were presented and ultimately a demountable flood wall from Flood Control America was chosen as the best fit. Floodproofing.com, along with Flood Control America and Veenstra & Kimm, Inc., A Kleinfelder Company, worked to provide a 1,775-linear-foot flood wall designed to stand between Clarksville and future floods.
